It’s really amazing how much a change of dress code can change your attitude every morning. This is what our clothes line used to look like on the weekend.
From this you perhaps can see that Keith and I did indeed wear khaki pants and a blue top every day to work for the past year and a half. However, with the start of this semester our school decided to give their teachers a little more freedom in their duds.
Maybe this sounds pathetic but I truly feel like my mornings are a little brighter because I can choose to put on nice clothes that aren’t exclusively blue and khaki. It’s actually quite amusing that I am more excited to go to work each day because I feel like I haven’t been wearing the same outfit all week long, all month long, all semester long.
Oh the small things, right?
